Farmingdale State College Aviation

Farmingdale State College Flying Rams will fly five of their 22 college-owned aircraft in a show opening fly-by and racetrack flight path over air show center. This year’s performers are all recent graduates who are now employed by the college, working as Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) and building the necessary hours for them to go to airlines.

The Farmingdale State College Aviation Center is a unique part of the SUNY system and is located only 8 miles from Air Show Center. Farmingdale awards a BS in Aeronautical Science, Professional Pilot, or Aviation Administration. The flight program is accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board International and flies its own fleet of aircraft.
